Kaine; The Dark Hero

If the cloaks and mask are taken off, then the true identity behind it all is shown. Your eyes go to inspect the man from top to bottom. Looking closely to the neck region you can see a few chains hanging down. Looking a bit down you see in front of you a red tank top made out of a decent fabric with a few patterns on the edges. In front of the tank top is a large blackish trench coat, the front is open up revealing some of the body with the collar around the neck, sticking up. The sleeves end up just at the edge of Kaines elbows. As you inspect down the body, you see a brown leather like belt with a silver buckle at front, holding up some baggy black trousers. When looking further down, a pair of large black laced up boots are seen.([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.])

Items of interest: A large amount of different types of weaponry. The weapons range from long swords, katanas, rapiers, daggers, gauntlets, scythes, spears, axes, scimitars and sickles. Some of the weapons seem to have special features about them though. Along with weaponry their are a few maniquine like figures wearing different types of armour.

It was a happy time for the Shira family when a new member was born, Kaine. Raised up in a middle class family of six, including Kaine. Troy and Melissa, the parents worked hard for the money they had, while Kaine and his two sisters and brother played together. They were all brought up well in Caelin, each one of them going into the Caelin Academy. Kaine was a superb student, though he lacked the smarts for most of the stuff. Everything was running smoothly for them all, with Melissa working at home and looking after them while Troy worked for the Military, someone who Kaine looked up to deeply

However of course It was weird how the family was going well without any bad things happening, it was really too good to be true. They took a turn for the worst as Troy and Melissa split up, some argument made it happen. Troy left to a different house with the youngest sister, while Melissa stayed with the others. Of course it was hard to keep up the family with just a mother to support the three children so Kaine and his brother got jobs and started bringing in money for them all. With the family separated, it affected Kaine a bit but not that much seeing how he’d go see his father every so often, and they’d bond over talking about the Military.

Soon, Melissa became ill and couldn’t work or look after the family, so Kaine and his older brother had to step up a bit to provide for everyone without their mothers help. Word got out to Troy and of course Troy and the youngest sister came back to the family to help out with everything, but that meant quitting the military. Soon Kaine was finished with education and started looking for the next thing to do. After a discussion with Troy, Kaine decided to try and apply to the military when he was old enough. With the help from his father, he started to train himself to get into shape for the army. This mainly involved going to the basement of the house where some exercising machines were. Day in and day out, using the time he had when not working he was down in the basement, training to make his father proud and carry on what Troy wanted.

In time, Kaine applied and managed to get into the Caelin Military, all was going great in life. Kaine was doing well in the army and still continued to train whenever home, still making time for the family as well. Troy and the rest of his family were proud, even Melissa while in her ill state. The main problem came when the illness that Melissa had, became critical and slowly, she died. It brought stress to all of them. When Kaine was told, it began to affect him in more ways than one. Stress started getting to him and his judgement and thoughts were clouded, it hindered him in the Military since he couldn’t concentrate fully.

Bound to happen with everything that was going on, Kaine was relieved from the Military after many mess ups, it seemed the death of his mother got to him greatly. Even though the rest of the family had moved on from the departure, it was still in Kaines mind. Searching and trying to get a job, failing nearly every time just because he didn’t have the smarts for most things. Yet with the crime rate low in Caelin, there are always thugs wanting to show their power, and those thugs found a willing young man wanting money. Of course Kaine started working and doing jobs for them, knowing that the jobs were evil deeds. Everything started to fade away from Kaines mind as he did more and more jobs, feeling good about himself for managing to get so much money from these jobs, even though he knew what they were.

Job after job, thug after thug, each time, Kaine would either threaten or beat someone up just because someone told him too for money. At least he was making money by using what he loved doing, fighting. One job though, went out of hand and the guy Kaine was meant to kill, managed to call for help before dying, and within the area, Troy managed to see him escaping. He went home only to find all of his stuff on the table and Troy looking furious. It didn’t end well, Troy knew what he had been doing and kicked Kaine out along with telling him to never come back again. Of course Kaine did as he was told too, and left with barely any of his stuff to make travelling easier.

Travelling and adventuring became a way that Kaine had to do to survive, still doing the jobs whenever asked to by people, the money helped him live. Each job started to corrupt him though, making it seem like each job he did was a good thing, not a bad thing. Things got even more extreme as the jobs increased with difficulty but with more rewards. But with the difficulty and rewards growing, so did the strength needed to do the jobs, so Kaine kept on training whenever he could to get stronger and better. He even bought a new wardrobe to conceal himself, just so he was never found out about by those he knew and his family. Throwing away all that he knew about his past was an easier way then having it burden him, leaving his family, even if it wasn’t his choice. Now with evil and corruption, filling up his mind, all he loved was fighting, becoming more powerful, the thrive to be the strongest was something that kept him going.
